ACTIVITIES THEY PROVIDE:
Adrienne is very connected with the local community. Helping at the veg co-op is a regular activity, as are trips to the library and local playgroups. Adrienne believes young children learn best through real, hands-on activities, their everyday routines are filled with these. From doing laundry to making dinner, gardening to sorting cutlery, supermarket shopping to feeding pets, she knows that children are learning math, science, and literacy concepts as well as gaining a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie found in working together. Adrienne feels that sharing household responsibilities with children has a major impact on their learning, emotional intelligence and long term success.
Adrienne is playful, creative, and a nurturing person with a strong focus on the emotional and physical well-being of children. Her interactions with children are language rich – helping a child to build their vocabulary and develop their communication skills increases their confidence and gives a sense of belonging.
