Averille is a mother of two adult children and has two grandchildren. Looking after and caring for children for over thirty years as an Educator and previously as a foster parent. She has looked after many children and has had previous families return with their children. Averille comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge and is amazing with young infants and babies.
Averille has a large home with an open plan layout with resources available for children to make their own choices and have the freedom to explore. Averille has a wonderful decked area that provides lots of opportunities for children to ride bikes and practice their physical skills such as crawling and walking. There is also a large open grass area for them to run and explore. Young children also have their own room for sleeping.
ACTIVITIES THEY PROVIDE:
Averille attends Home Grown Kids playgroup weekly, our excursions, and lots of wonderful opportunities to be read too, core curriculum activities such as puzzles, blocks, books and lots of one to one care. Averille goes the extra mile when it come to care giving routines, giving dinner ready for pick up.
Averille believes in play based learning where children can explore and engage in activities developing at their own pace. She believes in building on respectful, trusting relationships with children so that they have a great sense of well being and belonging.
