Linda has been an Educator with us since 2015. Her family of three boys are all grown up and she is “Grandma“ to two young grandchildren. (not that she looks like a grandma). Linda is very fit and healthy going to the gym most days.
Before becoming an Educator Linda was a Teacher Aide for 16 years and decided to change from working with school aged children to preschoolers. Linda is very passionate about working with children.
Linda has a wonderful home environment close to Ashbury Park and the beach. She has a play room dedicated to the children in care, hooks for bags and name tags. Children and their families get a real sense of belonging as soon as they come to Linda’s home.
Off the playroom is another wonderful conservatory space with plenty of resources set up for children to engage and explore. There is certainly lots of room for a group of four.
Outside there is a deck where children can ride bikes, a sandpit with a bridge to walk over and chickens to feed. Linda provides a stimulating environment and always has something new and exciting out for the children.
ACTIVITIES THEY PROVIDE:
Linda has a wide range of resources and provides lots of physical activities, she takes children to outings, parks, nature walks mainly music sessions, and weekly playgroup. She also meets up with other Educators and their care children to let children experience and develop long term relationships with others in a wider setting.
Linda is a firm believer that children learn through play. She believes in providing a caring, stimulating environment where children can learn and develop. By providing quality care and education that they deserve in a home based environment.
