Palmerston North, Central
Somayeh is new to Home Grown Kids and we are so delighted to have her as part of our whanau. Somayeh lives with her husband, Ali, and her two children, Negar (10) and Bahar (4).
Somayeh’s home is located right in the heart of the city. She has access to a big park across the road, supermarket and local playgroups. Te Manawa is only a short walk away too! She also has lovely fully fenced backyard to run off any energy. Furthermore, she has fully safe proofed her home, ready for some lovely tamariki to join her and Bahar (4 year old daughter).
ACTIVITIES THEY PROVIDE:
She loves to take tamariki on outings to the library, play groups, park and nature visits and the toy library. She loves to read books, sing nursery rhymes, dance and physical activities. She also sets up great activities for drawing and painting.
Somayeh has a wonderfully calming nature that would make any tamaiti feel at ease. Somayeh believes in spending time playing with tamariki and extending their learning. She wants to support tamariki in their independence. She wants to teach them responsibilities, and believes tamariki, are capable of being involved in daily routines, like making meals. Somayeh believes in offering activities that are creative and that tamariki get a chance to use their imagination.
