Vicky is a dedicated Educator. She has two little girls of her own and includes her Home Grown Kids children in her fun stimulating daily routine. Vicky has studied psychology and has worked both as a Teacher Aid in schools for children with learning difficulties and in early childhood settings.

Vicky provides a fun child focused home environment. She has a large front and back yard, with lots of quiet and tranquil areas, purpose built covered deck area, as well as a large lawn and open deck space, sandpit, ducks and chickens, vegetable patches, flowers and fruit trees.
ACTIVITIES THEY PROVIDE:
Vicky’s activities are age appropriate. She has a great connection with the Blackpool Play Group and Music and Movement. Baking with her tamariki is a regular activity, as well as messy play and craft making. Vicky incorporates singing and action songs in her daily routine, puzzle play, sand and water play also.
Vicky is influenced by Magda Gerber and she bases her philosophy loosely around hers. Vicky’s approach is flexible however, which at its core is to be kind and respectful of different individuals. As a result of her background, Vicky believes in strong equitable opportunities for young children, particularly in making play accessible to all.
