EXPERIENCE:
Hi, I’m Michelle. I’m a Grandmother and great Grandmother with over forty years experience as a child Educator in a range of ECE settings such as Playcentre and previously owned and operated my own ECE centre. Home Based is where my passion lies and I have been providing this care for 10 years now.

HOME ENVIRONMENT:
I have a fenced front garden and grass area for children to run and play which is fully fenced with age appropriate resources for all children.
I have a small dog that the children talk to through the baby gate. she is safely away from the children while care and education is taking place.
ACTIVITIES PROVIDED:
We have art and craft activities set up each day. There are two large rooms where children can work and learn with a large range of resources.
CHILDCARE PHILOSOPHY:
We like to get out and about in the community and we see many opportunities to enhance learning outcomes. I work with Te Whāriki, linking our outcomes and experiences back to the curriculum. I take time to get to know your child by observing them n the early weeks of care. I then work with their interests and individual passions to provide a programme that is rich in knowledge using the community to its fullest. I love to provide a variety of activities and tactile experiences for your little one to experience.
